How do I schedule an appointment?
How do I reschedule?
To reschedule please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may transfer your deposit to a future date if you reschedule at least 7 days before your original appointment. You are allowed to reschedule and transfer your deposit once. Last minute rescheduling will result in forfeiting your deposit.
Is there anything I should do before booking an appointment?
Prior to booking an appointment, please read our:
Health clearance to ensure you are a qualify for Ombre Powder brows.
Pre-appointment care to get ready for your appointment and maximize your results!
Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of your appointment and forfeiting your deposit.
Can I get a consultation?
For an online consultation please email us a photo of your bare brows to email@example.com. At the beginning of every appointment, there is a consultation and pre-draw portion where we both decide the shape and color that suits you best.
Am I a candidate for PMU?
To see if you qualify, please check our health clearance.
How do I pay my remaining balance?
Your remaining balance is due at your appointment and we accept credit/debit card (+2.9% fee), cash, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.
How long does it last?
Ombré Powder is a permanent makeup service that does fades over time. Brows can last up to 1-3 years with the first touch up, however we recommend an annual touch up after the first touch up.
How many sessions does it take?
Every brand new set of brows requires two sessions (the initial appointment and the first touch up.
Do I need a touch up?
Yes, all permanent makeup procedures are a two-step process. It takes two sessions to achieve the desired results. Brows are hardly perfect after the first session. It can be expected that brows will heal light and possibly patchy after only one session.
How long should I wait to get a touch up?
At least 6 weeks. It takes at least 4 weeks for the skin to heal. I recommend getting your first touch up 6-12 weeks after the initial session.
When do I come back for a second touch up after my first one?
I recommend coming back every 6-12 months for a touch up to refresh your color and define your shape. Everyone’s skin type is different therefore it varies for each client. Oily skin clients tend to require touch ups earlier while dry skin clients are able to wait longer before they need a touch up.
Do I need a cosmetology/esthetician license to take your class?
No! There are no pre-requisites to take a training. You also don’t need a cosmetology or esthetician license to become a brow artist/PMU artist.
Does the class provide certification?
Yes, students will receive a certificate upon satisfactory completion.
Will a live model be provided?
Students must bring their own live model. If you’d like the academy to provide you a live model It will be an additional $200 fee.
Do you offer support after the course?
Yes! Every training comes with lifetime support. Students will receive online support from the instructor, teaching assistant, studio artist, as well as other students. Students enrolled in specific programs will also be able to schedule instructor shadowing appointments.
What are your requirements to enroll into your training?
– Must be 18 years or older
– NO experience is required
– Student must complete a Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Training and obtain a BBP certificate prior to class. This certificate is required by the health department in most states. This course teaches sanitation and safety and the certificate is required for all PMU artists to have in order to legally perform the procedure in CA. The course is a 2-hour online course for $25. We recommend taking your course at www.abovetraining.com
Will I receive a confirmational email or informational email once I enroll?
A conformational email will be sent out shortly after you have enrolled here and made a deposit. An additional informational email will be sent out to registered students 5 days before the training.

Do you offer discounts if I register with a friend or opt out on the training kit?
Unfortunately we do not offer those kinds of discounts on training. Any promotional deals and prices will be posted on Instagram.
