Our 3-day Ombré Powder Brow classes are small and intimate with an average of 2 students per class and a maximum of 4 students per class. Small class sizes ensure that no student gets left behind while being able to network with other students and connect with like-minded individuals. Classes with more than 2 students (3-4) will include an additional assistant teacher to ensure students get 1:1 guidance and personalized feedback.

How much are the monthly payments?

This amount will depend on how much you want to finance, you many months you’d like to take to pay it off, and how much the interest is (depending on your credit score). Once you apply, PayPal will show you your payment options. To finance your tuition there is an additional $100 fee.

No experience, permit, or license required for students to enroll in the beginner classes. Students must be 18 years or older to enroll into a class.

Students will become certified and receive a certificate of completion at the end of the class. 

A certification is different from a license. 

As a training academy, we provide students with a certificate of completion to demonstrate that you have taken the course and you have the knowledge to perform the service. However, we are not allowed to provide you with a license. Only your local health department is allowed to provide you with a license that will allow you to legally perform the service.

In California, you need a body art practitioner license in order to legally perform the service. In order to obtain the license here is what you need:

1. Take a training and obtain your certification
2. Obtain your BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens) certificate by taking an online course. This 2 hour online course is required for every brow artist and the course teaches you proper basic health and safety practices. The course ranges from $30-50.
3. Establish a place that you will be servicing clients at whether it be a salon, salon suite, room rental or bed rental. You will need this address on your body art license application.
4. Fill out a Body Art Practitioner form and submit it to the health department. You will need your ID and to pay a small registration fee ($20-50). Once you complete the form, the health department will contact you to schedule an inspection of your location and you will receive your license in the mail!

Every state and county rules vary. Please visit your local health department’s website for requirements and more information. A brow artist is commonly known as a body art practitioner from the health department.

All in-person beginner and advanced training include a live model practice portion where students will be able to apply their new knowledge and skill on a real client. Students will be closely supervised and guided by an instructor during this portion. Students will be allowed and encouraged to take photos and videos for their portfolio for marketing purposes. Students are recommended to bring their own model however a model can provided for an additional $200. 

On average, brow artists charge $400-600 for a single service with beginners charging about $300-400 in the beginning. Most brow artists typically make on average $8000-$10,000/month with many achieving 6-figure incomes the first very first year of their career.

We recommend beginners with none to little experience to take in-person training to ensure they receive the proper hands-on training on a live model.
